Our comprehensive junior golf programs set the stage for kids and future generations to enjoy the game of golf for a lifetime.
The NTPGA Junior Tour is one of the largest of its kind in the country. It has a membership of approximately 4,000 junior golfers ages 7-19 and conducts over 500 tournaments annually. Tournaments vary in their degree of competitiveness and are for junior golfers of all skill levels. Although the NTPGA Junior Tour fosters competition, its primary goals are to grow the game of golf, continue skill development and encourage fellowship, good sportsmanship, honesty and integrity, while setting the stage for a lifetime of playing golf.
The Northern Texas PGA homesite features The Ronny Golf Park. Kids can learn the game through dedicated junior golf programs and camps, families can have fun together, and our community can connect through the game of golf at The Ronny.
PGA Jr. League is a game-changing opportunity for boys and girls to learn and play golf. This program brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA Professionals and provide junior golfers with knowledge and skills that set the stage for competitive golf.
A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.
By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of girls and boys ages 7-15, the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals, which is conducted at Augusta National Golf Club the Sunday before the Masters Tournament and is broadcast live by Golf Channel.
We are always looking to enhance our junior golf programming. If growing the game is something you would like to help us with, please contact Casey Rayburn at crayburn@ntpga.com for assistance.
