Fairway To Success
Since its establishment in 2007, the Fairway to Success program has awarded more than $2.5 million in scholarships to 96 deserving students, thanks to the support of Deloitte, the United Way, and the Northern Texas PGA. Through the generosity of Deloitte partners, principals, directors, and personnel in North Texas, 86 students have received four-year, $20,000 scholarships, while an additional 10 have been awarded "last dollar" full scholarships to the University of North Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas at Arlington. For the 2023-24 school year, 79 seniors from four DISD high schools applied, with six students earning Deloitte/NTPGA Fairway to Success Scholarships, and two students receiving full "last dollar" scholarships. Additionally, 12 finalists were awarded $95,000 in NTPGA Foundation scholarships, made possible through support from the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, I AM a Golfer Foundation, THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, and the NTPGA Foundation.

Fairway to Success is helping to impact and change the lives of young people in our community. The program is conducted at four DISD high schools – W.W. Samuell, Thomas Jefferson, David W. Carter and Lincoln and includes exposing students to golf and the life lessons that are inherent to the game.
These schools were selected by DISD for their level of need and lack of outside resources. During the 2023-2024 school year, a virtual college-prep program and after school golf programs were conducted for 79 DISD high school students introducing them to golf by local PGA professionals and Deloitte professionals.
Graduating seniors who qualify by participating in the program, have the opportunity to apply for a college scholarship.
