Fairway To Success

Established in 2007, the Fairway to Success Program annually awards scholarships to deserving students based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community involvement and financial need. Each year, at least one outstanding and deserving senior at each high school is awarded a four-year, $20,000 scholarship. In addition, one to two students are awarded a "last dollar" full scholarship to our partner schools, the University of North Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas at Arlington.

The Northern Texas PGA, Deloitte and United Way are proud to announce as of April 2024, $2.5M in scholarships have been awarded to 96 recipients. Eighty-six students have each been awarded a $20,000 scholarship. 100% of these have been funded over the past 17 years from Deloitte partners, principals, directors and personnel in North Texas through a scholarship endowment. An additional ten "last dollar" full scholarships have also been awarded by UNT Dallas and UTA. 

This school year, 79 seniors from our four DISD participating high schools submitted scholarship applications, and six students were selected as 2024 Deloitte/NTPGA Fairway to Success Scholarship recipients, while one student received the "last dollar" full scholarship from the University of Texas at Arlington, and one student received a "last dollar" full scholarship from the University of North Texas as Dallas.

An additional 12 finalists were awarded $95,000 in NTPGA Foundation scholarships thanks in part to support from the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, I AM a Golfer Foundation, THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and the NTPGA Foundation.
