In 2024, the Northern Texas PGA Foundation, in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts, launched a scholarship program, Fore Frisco, modeled after the impactful Fairway to Success scholarship program. This initiative, which has awarded deserving DISD students four-year scholarships based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and financial need, inspired the creation of Fore Frisco for Frisco ISD students.

With financial support from Omni Hotels & Resorts, the NTPGA Foundation awarded four $20,000 scholarships to Frisco ISD seniors who participated in a five-week, before-school golf and hospitality program during the 2025-26 school year. This need-based scholarship program provided students with financial assistance to pursue higher education. An exciting and impressive addition for year two of this program, the University of North Texas joined as a partner to offer one full-ride scholarship to a Fore Frisco participant who had interest in attending UNT. The winner was Kayla Rochez.

All Fore Frisco programming took place at The Ronny Golf Park, where students learned the fundamentals of golf—driving, chipping, and putting—under the instruction of PGA Professionals. In addition to developing their golf skills, participants explored career opportunities in hospitality at Omni Hotels & Resorts as well as careers in the golf industry. Upon completing the program, eligible students applied for a scholarship, and each recipient was paired with a mentor from the leadership team at Omni PGA Frisco Resort.
